What to expect
Your own plan may differ.

We pass it to the hospital. A TCM doctor suggests sessions or a programme, with an estimated price. If it isn't a good fit, we'll say so.
We book them for you and let the hospital know you're coming. Sessions can fit around other appointments.
Give your appointment details at the international department. A TCM doctor sees you first and explains the plan.
Your estimate
We pass it to the hospital's specialists. The more you tell us, the closer the estimate.

Good to know
Some of these may change your mind.
TCM goes alongside your usual medical care, not instead of it. Don't stop any treatment without talking to your own doctor.
Tell the TCM doctor about every medicine you take. Tell your own doctor about any herbs.
Flights and a hotel make a TCM-only trip cost more than TCM at home. It makes most sense alongside other treatment.
TCM is never a replacement for treating cancer or another serious illness.
You'll need a visa. Visa-free entry doesn't cover medical care. Check the rules with your local Chinese visa centre.
Normal travel insurance usually won't cover planned treatment abroad. Check with your insurer before you book. You may need specialist cover.
