Who we are
China Health Access helps patients from other countries get estimated prices from hospitals in Guangzhou, China, and books their appointments.
We decide how your information is used on this website and in our service. That makes us responsible for it under data protection law.
Our company details:
- Registered company name: to be added
- Registration number: to be added
- Contact: our contact page, or WhatsApp at +44 7909 446610
What we collect
We collect what you give us when you ask for a price or message us, and what the hospital sends us for your booking. We also get some technical data when you use this website.
- Contact details: your name, email, phone, WhatsApp or WeChat, and the country you live in.
- About the treatment you want: the treatment, your answers to our questions, and anything you tell us about your condition, such as symptoms or a diagnosis.
- Other details you give us: the patient's age, when you'd like treatment, your budget, the language you'd like us to use and how you heard about us.
- From the hospital: your estimated price and your appointment details.
- If you book: the details the hospital needs for your appointment, such as your name as it appears on your passport.
- Messages: what you send us on WhatsApp or WeChat.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit. Our hosting provider records some of this automatically.
If you send us a relative's details, check that they agree first.
Why we use it
We use your information only for the reasons below. We don't use it for advertising.
- To reply to you.
- To pass your request to a hospital, so its specialists can give an estimated price.
- To book your appointment and let the hospital know you're coming.
- To keep records and meet our legal duties.
- To keep this website working and secure, and to stop spam.
The chat on this website is an automated assistant that answers common questions. It doesn't make decisions about you or your care.
To talk to a person, message us on WhatsApp or WeChat.
Our legal reasons
Which privacy laws apply depends on where you live and where your data is handled.
We're based in China, so China's Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) applies to us. If you live in the UK or the EU, the GDPR may also apply.
These laws set out the reasons we may use your information. Ours are:
- Your consent: to use your health information and pass it to a hospital. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Our agreement with you: to get you the estimated price and book the appointment you asked for.
- Legal duties: to keep the records the law requires and to answer lawful requests from the authorities.
- Keeping the service safe: to protect this website, stop spam and fix problems.
Who we share it with
We share only what each person or company needs to do their part. We don't sell your information.
- A hospital in Guangzhou: what you tell us about the treatment you want, so its specialists can estimate a price, and your details when we book your appointment. Nothing is sent until you agree.
- Companies that help us run our service: hosting, email, data storage and spam checks. They can't use your information for anything else.
- WhatsApp and WeChat, if you message us there. Those companies handle your messages under their own privacy policies.
- Family members or others you name. We don't discuss your request with them unless you tell us to.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Sending information across borders
When we pass your request to a hospital, your information goes to China.
Our website and the services that store your messages run on servers outside China.
China, the UK and the EU each have rules on sending personal information abroad. We follow them for every transfer. Where they require it, we'll ask you to agree to the transfer first.
You can ask us which providers we use and where they store data.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only while we need it. The law says we must keep some records for longer.
If you don't go ahead, we delete your health information and chats when we no longer need them. Ask us and we'll do it sooner.
If we book an appointment for you, we keep your file as long as the law requires.
Hospitals keep their own records of your care. Their rules, not ours, apply to those.
How we protect it
This website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
Only our staff can see your health information on our systems. They use it only to get your estimated price and book your appointment.
No system is completely secure. If a breach puts your information at risk, we'll tell you. We'll also report it where the law requires.
Please don't send passwords or bank card numbers by chat or message. Tell us about your health through the quote form, not the chat.
Your rights
Some of these rights depend on where you live.
- See it: ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Correct it: ask us to fix anything wrong or incomplete.
- Delete it: ask us to remove it, unless the law says we must keep it.
- Withdraw consent: you can do this whenever you like. It doesn't undo what we did while you'd agreed.
- Limit it: ask us to stop or pause some uses of your information.
- Take it with you: ask for your information in a format you can pass on.
- Complain: contact the data protection authority where you live. We'd like the chance to put things right first.
If you withdraw consent, we stop using your health information. We keep only the records the law requires. That may mean we can't get you a price or book your appointment.
To use any of these rights, contact us. How to reach us is at the end of this policy.
What this site saves in your browser
This site saves a few things in your browser so you don't lose your place:
- Your unfinished quote form, for up to 14 days, so you can pick up where you left off.
- Your chat, so it's still there if you come back within 7 days.
- A random ID that links this browser to your chat.
- Your ticks on the patient guide's documents checklist.
- Whether you chose the light or dark look for this site.
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your quote request also comes to us. Clearing your browser doesn't delete our copy. Ask us if you want it deleted.
To remove what's saved, clear this site's data in your browser settings. On a shared computer, do this when you've finished.
Children
You must be 18 or over to contact us or book. If you're under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us.
If you're asking for a child, you must be their parent or legal guardian. You give consent for them.
If we find we hold a child's information without the right consent, we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy when our service or the law changes. We'll post the new version on this page with its date.
If a change affects information you've already given us, we'll tell you directly.

Contact us through our contact page or on WhatsApp at +44 7909 446610 with any question about your information, or to use your rights.
